As an entrepreneur you will have to find your own path, both for work and personal life. To do that may take years, but learning from successful people will be the shortest and surest route. Believe it or not, the best business lessons we learn are all rooted in the simple things that are in front of your eyes but you miss the chance to see them.

1. Don’t blame, actively improve

In many cases things don’t go your way like losing revenue forecasts, launching products on time, or even getting sued over silly little things.

Naturally, this will be the cause of the blame for why things don’t go the way you want them to. But that won’t make you any better because it won’t solve your problem.

Instead of blaming, focus on solving and fixing the problem. The results may not be immediate, but as long as you’re working to improve, you’ll eventually get the results you want.

2. Don’t stop when you’re tired, only stop when you’re done

You’ll get tired of being an entrepreneur and you’ll even feel like you’ve burned out at times, especially when things go awry. But what has helped entrepreneurs succeed is “don’t give up”.

Successful entrepreneurs don’t care how many hours they work in a day or how tired they are. What they care about is “not to stop when the necessary work has not been completed”.

The moment you stop is the day you fail. As long as you keep moving forward, you will eventually reach your goal.

3. Honesty is an expensive gift, don’t expect it from cheap people

As an entrepreneur you will have to seek advice and feedback from others. But the marketplace teaches you to learn that not all advice is created equal, some people will give you better advice than others.

The best advice you will always get is that’s true. The truth is vulnerable, but it will save you time and money.

Don’t just expect the truth from people who are only interested in avoiding making you emotional. That won’t help you reach your goal, it will only push you down.

4. Work hard in silence and continue your success with yourself

Once you’ve started to achieve a little bit of good work, you want to show off. You buy lavish, expensive decorations for yourself to tell people about your success, just to prove to the world that “I made it”.

In the long run, buying material things doesn’t make you happy, and telling people about your success only makes people think you’re arrogant and worse, it creates more competition.

Don’t worry about telling people about your success, it won’t make you any better. Focus on your work, keep your mouth shut because the last thing you need is more competition.

5. Don’t get sidetracked by those who aren’t on the right track

It’s easy to get lost in the wrong direction, especially under the influence of others. If you don’t focus on your core business model, you will get stuck in a vicious circle and get no results.

6. Behind successful people are many failures

When people look at what you’ve accomplished, a lot of times they think you could have done it in just a few years. But they forget one thing about how hard you started a star up. It can take you 5 years, 10 years even 20 years to achieve success.

And over that five- or twenty-year period, you could have lost millions of dollars and made a lot of mistakes. At the same time devote a lot of time and health to that career.

Most business owners fail with their first startup, a lot of people fail before they succeed. So as long as you keep moving forward with an entrepreneurial spirit, your odds of success will increase over time.

7. Live your life in such a way that if someone speaks ill of you, no one will believe it

Businesses come and go, but the one thing you’ll have to protect more than anything is your reputation. Your reputation can affect any new business or job you try to get later.

Treat your reputation as if it were more valuable than gold. Always help and never speak ill of others. Live a good and useful life, no one will believe it if someone says bad things about you.

8. Sometimes you follow your dream it also opens the door for others to follow theirs

To be an entrepreneur is not only for you. You won’t be able to fulfill your dreams without the help of others.

If you’re chasing your dream, make sure you don’t forget the people who helped you achieve it. Find out their goals and dreams then help them fulfill them.

Your business partner and you continually help all members of your team achieve their dreams  and this will likely help you retain the most valuable members of your team. This is important because it’s really hard to find a good talent, so keep an eye on them.

9. Just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing

Every great success requires some hard work. Nothing worthwhile is easy, so don’t expect your business career to be easy.

You will have to work hard, fight through the tough times and keep moving forward. If being an entrepreneur is easy without any difficulty, anyone can be an entrepreneur.

So when you are in trouble, don’t give up, keep moving forward until you see the light at the end of the tunnel.

10. The hardest thing is to open a closed mind

It doesn’t matter how good a salesperson you have, the important thing is that some people don’t want to hear you talk. They have a closed mind and feel that they know everything.

You can try to be patient with people like this, but find that the hardest thing is to open up to their closed mindset. So instead of wasting your time, you should invite them to leave.

You won’t have enough time as an entrepreneur. Especially at a startup because you won’t have a lot of money or people to help you. So give yourself support, don’t waste time with people who are closing their minds.

11. If you help people get what they want, you can get what you want

The lesson that takes you the most time is that you have to help people to get what you want. Business is all about relationships, you can’t just ask people for help without paying your debt. If you help people go one step further in their career, they will go an extra mile to help you and if you help people without profit, without expecting anything in return, they will go another ten miles to help you. help you.
